George Shadrack Kamanda is a civic leader, diplomat, and author dedicated to empowering responsible citizenship in Sierra Leone. He is the founder and CEO of the Necessity Firm and Chairman of Everyday Citizen, a civics initiative. George holds advanced degrees from the University of Oxford, Case Western Reserve University, and the University of Pennsylvania, and has received prestigious fellowships and awards for his work.
George advises the Permanent Mission of Sierra Leone to the UN in New York, leveraging his international law expertise. He’s also a published author, guided by his Christian faith and values of compassion, justice, and service.
